camp revolution has officially ended after the grand finale by the band, then the video of the many many things we did throughout the whole camp. I hope all of you have enjoyed yourself, and i also hope that you guys did bond with your new class through our games. we know that you guys are seriously tired, after yesterday's full-blast of games, and today's teambuilding games, we are still very happy that you all danced the mass dance and be as high during the finale! =) so what we want to say is: thank you very much yr5-s for your cooperation, allowing this camp to be so successful. the whole mass dance should be up on youtube soon, so keep a lookout of it alright? if you are interested, really go learn from the video. =)

photos will also be up somewhere soon...now we are all back to lsns, and i hope that everyone will have a great time ahead. thank you! =)

heyheyhey yr5! =)

thank you for your cooperation today. i hope you had a wonderful time with your class and also playing the games that we planned. well tmr will be a busier and more exciting day because there will be mass dance and you guys will be getting out of school! =) tmr morn pls assembly on the track for morning assembly at the usual time...(after four years of being in rv, in the fifth year, i dont think anyone has to remind you of the timing to assembly at the track for morning assembly). before that you guys can be wandering around~~~ haha.

anyway, tmr pls wear full uni to school, bring orientation shirt (white one), pe shorts, umbrella (optional), hp and wallet...lolx we will be getting out of school! =)

Firstly, we would like to thank those who gave constructive comments. This would be good to improve the quality of the camp you are going to be at. Your comments will be carefully considered. As for the timing for the leaving of school on the second night, I think it is the latest time we are going to release all of you. Further changes will be updated here, so please keep a look out!

Secondly, as we are going to release you late, please do go to IVLE, under the course, ORIENTATION2009, Ms Tan has uploaded the consent form for the campfire. Do download it, print it, get it signed by your parents, then submit it to us by 12th Jan 2009.

- the mass dance is designed specially for yr5 so only yr5 will be dancing it! =) and it is really cool! haha

Opps. I guess I have to break this news to everyone. It will be three days full day-camp. So there will not be any overnight staying. I am so sorry everyone! ><

But please be assured that it will still be fun. No staying over means everyone can bring less stuffs. Isn't that a good news? And yes, there will not be any lessons on the first THREE DAYS of school! =) On the first day, the details for the other two days will be released to all of you.

And, I feel that no matter how well we plan the camp, in the end, how fun the camp is all boils down to the yr5-es. If you guys think that the camp is a bore and it is a sucky idea, then it will be. But if you guys try to enjoy yourself and just play the games with interest, then I think the camp will be a success. Don't you guys agree? =)

And I can assure you the games are interesting! ;) Be on a look-out for more interesting updates.

Apologies for the long absence. Some small details regarding the yr 5 orientation next year, or should I say, Camp Revolution:

It will be from 12th Jan 09 to 14th Jan 09 - 3 days! A 3 days 1 night camp =)
The grouping will be according to your new yr 5 classes, to forge bonds in your class.

The theme this time round is THE NEW AGE! We are moving towards the first IP year and having us, as the first batch of year 5 students. This year marks one of the largest changes in our school's history which marks the dawn of a new era for the school and students. In a totally new system and concept of learning, it is indeed going to be a New Age for everyone, and the camp is going to be the start of all this change. Therefore, there is a need for a very different camp that addresses this change.

There are three main objectives:

1. Building school Pride and Spirit
2. Bonding students of new classes
3. Providing a new experience for everyone

IMPT THING TO NOTE:
bring PE tee on the first day of school! there will be no lsn. just mtg with form teachers.

Be prepared to have an enjoyable THREE DAYS that will prepare you for the NEW LIFE in SCHOOL!!!
