Opps. I guess I have to break this news to everyone. It will be three days full day-camp. So there will not be any overnight staying. I am so sorry everyone! ><But please be assured that it will still be fun. No staying over means everyone can bring less stuffs. Isn't that a good news? And yes, there will not be any lessons on the first THREE DAYS of school! =) On the first day, the details for the other two days will be released to all of you. And, I feel that no matter how well we plan the camp, in the end, how fun the camp is all boils down to the yr5-es. If you guys think that the camp is a bore and it is a sucky idea, then it will be. But if you guys try to enjoy yourself and just play the games with interest, then I think the camp will be a success. Don't you guys agree? =) And I can assure you the games are interesting! ;) Be on a look-out for more interesting updates. P.S. Apologies for the long absence. Some small details regarding the yr 5 orientation next year, or should I say, Camp Revolution:It will be from 12th Jan 09 to 14th Jan 09 - 3 days! A 3 days 1 night camp =) The grouping will be according to your new yr 5 classes, to forge bonds in your class. The theme this time round is THE NEW AGE! We are moving towards the first IP year and having us, as the first batch of year 5 students. This year marks one of the largest changes in our school's history which marks the dawn of a new era for the school and students. In a totally new system and concept of learning, it is indeed going to be a New Age for everyone, and the camp is going to be the start of all this change. Therefore, there is a need for a very different camp that addresses this change. There are three main objectives: 1. Building school Pride and Spirit 2. Bonding students of new classes 3. Providing a new experience for everyone IMPT THING TO NOTE: bring PE tee on the first day of school! there will be no lsn. just mtg with form teachers.
